Build a Good foundation for your Child: Prenatal Education

There are many things that take place during the different stages of child development. Parents invest a lot in classes and programs that will help hone their child’s skills. Many parents remain curious, though. Is it possible to facilitate the advanced development of the child even when the baby is still inside the womb?

A study conducted by the Family Research Institute and University of British Columbia states that less than 30% of mothers attend prenatal childbirth education classes. Many of them do their research online or don’t do it at all, leaving them unprepared later on.

Learning begins inside the womb; it is not just a place for physical development. In the last period of pregnancy, babies start to respond to different stimuli outside the womb. They can pick up rhythms and patterns like music or the sound of their mother’s voices reading stories to them.

All those kicks and turns also don’t happen by chance. The baby knows how the mother feels and this can be a bonding experience between the two. Because the baby's development inside the womb will directly affect their health once they are born, mothers should be wary of what they expose their child to.

There are also certain tools expecting mothers can turn to when it comes to their child’s development. Devices like the Baby Plus Prenatal Education System emit sounds that can help the baby become more interactive from inside the womb.
